Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pfauth.com B.V. ("Lettership", "we", "us"), registered at Oudeschans 2, 1011 KX Amsterdam, The Netherlands, processes personal data in connection with lettership.com (the "Website"). We are the controller of the personal data described below.
1. What we collect and why
Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we collect your email address and the date you subscribed. We use this solely to send you the newsletter you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Bot detection (Cloudflare Turnstile). We use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to protect the Website against automated abuse. Cloudflare processes a limited set of technical signals from your browser — including your IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the Turnstile sitekey of this Website — solely to distinguish humans from bots. Cloudflare does not use these signals to identify or profile individuals. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For details, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may temporarily log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained briefly and are not used to identify visitors.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics that profile you.
2. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Website, and only to the extent necessary:
- Postmark (ActiveCampaign, LLC, United States) — to deliver newsletters to subscribed readers.
- Laravel Cloud (Laravel Holdings, Inc., United States) — to host the Website, its database, and server logs. Laravel Cloud runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in the European Union.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) — for bot detection (Turnstile) as described above.
These providers act as processors on our instructions and are bound by appropriate data protection agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
3. International transfers
The Website's data is hosted in the European Union, in the Amazon Web Services EU region used by Laravel Cloud. However, Laravel Cloud (Laravel Holdings, Inc.) and Amazon Web Services are US-based companies and may access data from the United States. Postmark and Cloudflare are likewise based in the United States and may process data outside the EEA. For any such transfers we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we remove your email address from our active mailing list. Backups and logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal);
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority ( Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
The easiest way to stop receiving emails is to use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter we send.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the Website or by email where appropriate.
