The following terms and conditions govern your use of lettership.com and all content, services, software, and products available through this website (together, the "Website"). The Website is owned and operated by Pfauth.com B.V. ("Lettership", "we", "us"), registered at Oudeschans 2, 1011 KX Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Website. The Website is available only to individuals who are at least 13 years old.
1. The Service
Lettership is an early-stage newsletter platform. In its current form, the Website allows visitors to read newsletters published by Lettership and to subscribe to receive these newsletters by email. Account creation and user-generated content are not yet available; these terms will be updated when such features are introduced.
2. Subscriptions
You may subscribe to a newsletter by providing your email address. By subscribing, you consent to receive emails from Lettership relating to the newsletter you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by contacting us at [email protected].
3. Privacy
We process your email address and related data to deliver the newsletter you subscribed to. We do not sell your data. For details on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual Property
All content published on the Website — including newsletters, text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Lettership or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may read and share content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not reproduce, republish, or distribute it without our prior written permission.
You may quote from content published on the Website under the right of quotation, as set out in Article 15a of the Dutch Copyright Act (Auteurswet) and equivalent provisions under EU law. Quotations must be proportionate to their purpose (such as criticism, review, news reporting, or commentary), credit Lettership and the author where applicable, and link back to the original source where reasonably possible.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (i) use the Website in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation; (ii) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its systems, or other users' data; (iii) interfere with or disrupt the Website or its servers; or (iv) use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Website without our prior written consent.
6. Changes to the Service and these Terms
Lettership is under active development. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, with or without notice. We may also modify these terms at our discretion. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Website at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lettership disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lettership shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website. In no event shall Lettership's total liability to you exceed fifty euros (€50.00). The foregoing does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Website shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
